LIFE IS
Sleep is like a rainbow,
the colors of the wind
Dreams are like rivers,
with endless bends and swirls.
A wishing star is a flaming jewel,
placed high up in the sky.
The clouds are wild horses,
running by and by.
Anger is a monster,
out to hurt and kill.
Sadness is a spring evening,
made cold with winter's chill.
Peace is like an angel,
a gift from up above.
The world is like a child,
for us to hold and love.
Life is an endless battle,
not one to give or take.
The armies of this war are
great love and awful hate.
